Jordan Mills is a native Texas, moving to Houston in 2003. She became an Out for Education recipient in 2009 while she was working on her Associates degree. Out for Education helped Jordan continue her work towards a college degree, and she graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and Gender Studies from the University of Houston in 2013.
Now looking to the future, Jordan has started a masters program in Law and Social Work. She loves volunteering and giving back to the community. As a recipient of an Out for Education scholarship, she learned the importance of investing in the next generation and – after devoting many hours of work helping at events – recently joined the board to keep paying it forward. Between working and volunteering, Jordan loves to read and explore new places, and is always up for an adventure with her friends and family.
