David has been on the Out for Education Board since 2022. For the majority of his working career, he worked for a S&P 500 financial company as their Head of Benefits. He was responsible for the strategy, implementation, management and communication of the benefit programs offered to the 9,000+ employees worldwide.
David received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Lamar University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas.
In addition to Out for Education, David also volunteers for The Montrose Center, The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Vote Forward, various local tennis organizations and previously served on the Executive Committee of Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) from 2011 to 2015.
